From the Northern State Parkway Exit 29 North (Roslyn Road), north on
Roslyn Road to end (Landmark: Clock Tower on right). Turn left at traffic
light onto Old Northern Blvd then bear right around the curve onto West
Shore Road. Continue for approximately 2 ½ miles. Hempstead Harbor Beach
Park will be the second park on the right, immediately following Bar Beach. Exit 37 (Willis Avenue). Turn North onto Willis Avenue (left turn from South Service Road, right turn from North Service Road). North of the Expressway, Willis Avenue is renamed Mineola Avenue. Go North on Mineola Avenue for about a mile. Turn right onto Old Northern Boulevard (one block before Route 25A). Landmark: Citibank is on the far left corner. Stay on Old Northern Blvd to bottom of hill and turn left at traffic light onto West Shore Road, Hempstead Harbor Beach is approximately 2 ½ miles on the right.
